Hamburg-Rahlstedt, klein aber sehr fein, ILS-nah

Die Hosts waren freundlich und hatten gute Tipps für Besichtigungen. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas weit von Zentrum entfernt, doch mit der U-Bahn war man schnell in der Innenstadt. So hat man im ruhigen Raglstedt erholsame Nächte nach Tagen voller Aktivitäten. Toll fand ich auch, dass die Hosts sehr verständnisvoll waren - so reiste ich alleine an (Partner ist erkrankt) und bin auch früher als geplant abgereist. Hier komme ich gerne wieder.

Very helpful & welcoming host. The small suite was very clean, in a nice neighborhood & was furnished with all you needed for a week stay. Great hot shower. Able to easily reach points of interest by bus/ metro or train after walking to those locations.

Only issue was internet not always a strong continuing signal. Just a FYI..Closest transportation was about 6 U.S. regular blocks walk on uneven sidewalk. Might be difficult for those not able to walk extensively.

We really liked the attitude of the owners, they received us very warmly, as for the living area, the yard and the house are very well arranged, and everything in the apartment is perfectly arranged. It is an ideal place to relax.

A beautiful chalet nestled among the quiet suburbs of Hamburg; with a lovely garden and an outdoor table & chairs just for us. The room was large & comfortable with all the facilities we could need, the shower was hot and had great water pressure, and there was a car parking space right at the front gate. Our hosts were friendly without being intrusive, and had great advice & information to help us enjoy our first visit to this part of Germany. This accommodation represents outstanding value-for-money and we would absolutely stay here again.

The king-size bed was firmer than we're used to - not uncomfortable - just firmer. And during the summer months of early & late daylight, some block-out curtains would have been appreciated.
