Spa Residence Carbona Siesta Apartman

Though a separate apartment, it was wonderful to have access to the pool and other facilities of the attached hotel. The separate bedrooms provided privacy. The kitchen enabled us to cook for ourselves and save on that front. Having a parking garage on site was helpful as well.

No complaints. It would have been nice to have breakfast included rather than just discounted.

Just perfect: smooth check-in, practical introduction to all available facilities, perfectly furnished stylish but comfortable apartman. Access to awesome spa facilities and optional treatments. Highly recommended.

Free access to the hotel wellness and saunas. Thermal pools. Warm outside pool. Parking in garage. 10-15% discount on hotel paid services such as restaurants, beauty salon, massages etc. Possibility to walk in Bathrobes from appartment to hotel wellness by conjoined corridor. Bathrobes in appartment. Well equipped kitchen. Coffee machine, complimentary coffee, tea and bottle od wine. Little shop across the street.

Just a little problem. We were 3 adults and got only 2 wellness cards and 2 keys - each card could be used more times, so there was no problem to get to the wellness, however, we had to go together. Thermal pools are in different place than normal pools and saunas. We had to figure out who goes with who and where, while we wanted to sepparate. Maybe try to ask for extra card, if needed. We didn't ask, we were fine in the end.

The apartment building is connected to the hotel building, so you have a direct connection to the swimming/sauna/treatments area as well as to the restaurant. The apartment itself is new, very well equiped, modern. Each bedroom has a TV and access to the balcony. Kitchen is well equiped with everything you need during your stay (cooker, fridge, microwave, dish washer, washing mashine etc). Bathroom and toilet are separated, which is also good. You park your car in the garage directly in the building. You can use all hotel facilities, including indoor swimming pool, outside pool area (very nice in summer, however also usable in winter as the water has over 35 degrees), sauna (there arenalso sauna programs), massages, ayurveda center etc. Restaurant is buffet style, the cost is around 25€ /pp for lunch/dinner, drinks are not included. The choice is very good and the food tasty (Hungarian and international).

There is no place to dry your wet swimming suit, especially in winter. Although there is a drying rack on the balcony, it would be difficult to place it inside and the radiator in the bathroom was cold all the time. There also wasn’t any shower gel in the shower, although there was a dispenser installed. However these are just minor things which haven’t impacted our stay in a negative way.
