Vila Gará Kite House - Ilha do Guajiru

Perfekter Aufenthalt! Moderne, saubere Zimmer mit extrem bequemen Betten und fantastischem Frühstück. Die Lagune bietet ideale Kite-Bedingungen, die benachbarte Kiteschule ist perfekt zum Starten, Landen etc. Aline & Felipe sind fantastische Gastgeber – herzlich, persönlich und mit voller Leidenschaft dabei. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert – danke euch, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :)

Pontos positivos: • Quarto amplo e confortável. • Café da manhã bom, com mesa grande que incentiva a interação entre os hóspedes. • Espaço para guardar kites e secar pranchas. • Piscina agradável (à noite a água estava morna). • Local silencioso e ótima localização para quem veleja. • Acesso ao hotel Ybytu com opção de day use (R$ 60), incluindo piscina e restaurante de frente para o mar.

A cama inicial estava desconfortável, mas a pousada providenciou a troca rapidamente. O chuveiro apresentava baixa pressão de água e o ar-condicionado não refrigerava de forma satisfatória.

Ilha do Guajiru is great for kitesurfers. However, if some in your group are not kitesurfers or like to watch kitesurfing, then you need to like the place you are staying at and use their facilities as there is not a lot else to do unless you drive away somewhere else. Even going for a decent length walk is not that easy as the town is small and there are no walkable beaches within walking distance. Vila Gara is not directly on the lagoon but located just behind a similar size building/accommodation. This will no doubt mean that it is slightly cheaper to rent a room here, but compared to other kitesurfing locations on the north east coast, Ilha do Guajiru is in our experience, more expensive overall for everything (restaurants, coffee, etc.). Location wise, Vila Gara is absolutely fine. It takes only 20 seconds to walk down a path to reach the lagoon. It takes a few minutes walk to reach the town centre (which is really just one street). For kitesurfing, you can rig up gear on an adjacent hotel garden just 40m up from where you reach the lagoon and their are always helpers to launch and land kites - Vila Gala told us about this - its an excellent agreement/setup. You can be on the water within 5 minutes of leaving your room if you can pump your kite up quick enough. Accommodation and staff were great - on par with most other places we stayed. Same for breakfast. Nice and clean - good wifi, good AC, etc. Kite storage lockers. Parking on the road - Nice and safe.

Not much to other that kitesurfing and relax at the lagoon or pool.

Lovely, quiet pousada with all the amenities. Great breakfast and just a few steps from the lagoon for kitesurfing.
