Chalet Tannenhof

The apartment was clean, nicely decorated, spacious and at the same time cosy. The hosts were friendly, attentive and very willing to provide tips. The table tennis table, sleighs and ski room are nice extras that my family enjoyed.

I booked this chalet especially for the sauna and was very disappointed to find out at arrival that there is quite a steep fee on top of the room rate (55EUR for 2 hrs sauna / 20EUR for infrared sauna use). As this is not mentioned on the website or in the info emails that promote this amenity enthusiastically, this was an unpleasant surprise and I decided not to use this service. I told the owner/host about my disappointment on the last evening and she insisted to show me the sauna so I would understand the extra charge. It looks absolutely great, but still I think it should either be included in the room rate or communicated transparently. The host was sad to hear about my disappointment.

Beautiful accommodation, very well appointed and great location for the ski lift and to walk into town. Barbara and Walter were very welcoming and have styled the whole property to a very nice finish and are good hosts every evening in the bar.
