Was great to be able to walk to the sea from the cottage, and loved how cosy the cottage was.

"Good place to stay if getting an early ferry from Rosslare to Pembroke and good for coast"

10.0

Small but perfectly equipped place. All you need for your stay, well arranged and well presented. Very comfy bed. Walkable to the seafront although it was fenced off but a quiet lane on which to walk the dog. Liked that all windows opened and that the place was warm and cosy. Ate from a local restaurant takeaway from menus pinned to the notice board which was really helpful as I arrived on a Sunday evening.

"Clean, basic and ideal for short stay."

8.0

Breakfast not provided. Had everything we needed including a selection of teas, coffee and chocolate. There was also an air fryer. This was our second one night stay and we managed to find it in the daylight without too much difficulty. Easy parking

Three switches to turn on TV and then had to tune it! Instructions were there for the switches but not for the tuning, it took me 10 minutes or so to work it out! Front curtains very difficult to close.

"Not a cottage"

5.0

It was close to the ferry port, and dog friendly.

It’s not a cottage- it’s a converted garage with no heating from the radiators. It was relatively clean and reasonably equipped but not overly comfortable. The floor creaked between the lounge and the bathroom. The bed creaked and the quilt was a a cheap polypropylene and polyester one that has seen better days - as had the pillows. Tried the sofa bed and that was just as uncomfortable. The shower only had enough hot water for one and then you had to wait 15 to 20 minutes. Very small shower cubicle and no up/down adjuster on the shower head. It’s next to the owner’s property and they left an outside light on all night, disturbing us when they got back from being out at 11:30pm. Whilst it’s dog friendly it is not a secure garden for dogs. At £106 for a night you should expect better bedding and to be able to see out of the patio door - the glass has been blown a long time!
