Genteel Home Carmen San Ignacio

Excellent set up for four adults and two kids. Home had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the pool a lot but it is deep for small kids. Great location close to the main plazas but not so close that the noise or traffic were an issue.

It would have been nice if we had been given driving directions for our arrival - google maps sent us on an extremely complicated tight route (not for tourists, probably optimized for shortest distance) that was car scratching and nerve racking.

This was a fabulous property with everything you could want for a luxury stay. We loved the outdoor space and pool. The owners were very welcoming, informative and responsive. Highly reccomend.

It was very comfortable, clean and well equipped.

The host was very helpful. The location very convenient. There is a parking spot for each apartment but as the other tenants didn't have a car, the host allowed us to park both our cars. The apartment is very comfortable for 7 people. Each room has its own bathroom which is also very convenient.

The sewage smells a lot in 2 out of the 4 bedrooms. This is probably a known issue as there were air fresheners in both rooms. The first day when we arrived, I removed the air freshener from the plug of my room because it was too intense for me but after a while I started smelling the sewage so I had to put the air freshener back. Still I could smell the water sewage.

Beautiful house with an outdoor patio and direct access to a large outdoor common area including the pool.

The interior design was fresh and contemporary. Bedrooms and ensuites very high quality. The lounge was comfortable and the kitchen ideal for a family holiday. Gardens and pool were fabulous

The ensuites cistern was refreshing itself every hour through the night - a little annoying. Some noise from the upstairs apartment

It was clean and fully equipped.

Accommodation itself was lovely, no problem

Getting the keys was a problem - and after calling the person who later delivered the keys she tried to shift the blame onto us for being late - we were 30 minutes behind planned schedule due to our train, and had been communicating with the check-in lady around our time of arrival. It turned out she was at another property letting someone else in, and then had terrible problems getting to our location due to "lots of road works" (none of which seemed to exist from what we saw of Granada). Please can this company hire more staff when their properties are busy to allow people to check in without having to wait on a roadside (with no pavement) in 40 degree heat. It was totally unprofessional and a very unpleasant experience. There were three in our group aged > 80 years, and waiting on a road in 40-degree heat is especially not comfortable for them.

Overall, it is my favourite style. The house is spacious and beautiful, and the balcony has a view! It is within walking distance of the Alhambra Palace.
