Clean and good location

A bit dated, in need of TLC

The location as my family was only down the road and there was a shop just on the corner

There was 5 of us but only chairs for 4 ppl, plus the beds could do with new mattress in the double n single room.

Location one to my target areas. Spacious house that sleeps up to 7.

House had a bad smell of smoke and cannabis which should have been addressed before check in.Soap dispensers were all empty. Parking was an issue as neighbours used our parking and staff asked me to handle it which I did not like. Not my problem to solve. House needs some maintenance overall.

The location was excellent and ideal for exploring the Gower peninsular. The property was very roomy and there was plenty of space for the five of us. Good value for money

We never managed to get the heating sorted for the whole time we were there. The controls didn't work, the radiators were red hot, we couldn't turn them down. We contacted the property owner who said they had reset the thermostat but it made no difference. We contacted them again and then they said they had turned it down but in fact the heating went off and never came back on. We made do with two portable radiators. There was also only three forks - surprising when the property slept 7, only 4 mugs and one rack in the oven.

I liked that the property offered many bedrooms and it was clean upon arrival, I really liked the dining table and the child's highchair. The bedding and all beds were made up and clean upon arrival. Loved that we had an issue and it was resolved quickly and staff was very friendly. There were lots of TV options like Netflix and bbc Iplayer and didn't have to sign in and remember logins. There wasn't any clutter or valuables that could get damaged Cleaning amenities.

I think that the kitchen needs some added utensils as they seemed to be very used or broken and some weren't clean or fit for purpose. One of the master bedrooms mattress was very uncomfortable and the fan is broken so it didn't function properly. I felt like some information would have been a nice addition about the local area ie attractions, where to eat etc.

The location was pleasant. The decor and furnishings were attractive.

The place was in a poor state of repair, and some of the issues must have been longstanding. We needed a plumber, an electrician and a handyman immediately. The back garden, which could have been very nice, was in a shocking state of neglect, completely overgrown with brambles and weeds. I tried for two weeks (we were there for 33 days) to find out when the garden would be tidied up, only to be told (eventually) that the landlord did not want anyone going our there (except for a small area near the back door). Also, I would have expected that for a stay of 33 days, we would have been provided with clean sheets and towels and toilet paper at least once a week, but this was not done. Instead, we were expected to wash our own sheets and towels and hang them on the small washing line in the shade to dry on one of the rare days in Wales when it wasn't raining. (There was no dryer). We were also expected to buy our own toilet paper after the first few days. And there was no cleaning service for the whole 33 days (unless we paid extra). On the last day before we left, after having to communicate many times with the agent, we received a curt message to say vacate the next day by 10 am or pay 25 pounds if we're late!

Not much

It was dirty, our feet were black when walking on the carpets, the whole house smelled of stale cigarettes, there were cigarette butts all over the courtyard and on one of the flat roofs, we lacked basic utensils in the kitchen, serving spoons, adequately sized saucepans, scissors, crockery and glassware was mismatched and greasy and needed to be washed before use. We booked as a family of five and only four chairs at the dining table, the dining table mats were filthy. We needed to purchase batteries for the tv remote. The bathroom was tiny and the shower could do with updating. The ceilings looked damp and signs of leaks apparent.
