Oakview Chalet

Excellent views and perfect location for Glen Coe. Clean.

The property decor is tired inside and needs an upgrade. Whilst clean and as described for £200.00 a night I expect more than adequate. I stayed on one of the hottest weekends on record and despite the owner being very conscious of the heat and providing the chalet with air conditioning and even additional fans it was unbearable. There is a big difference between providing basic fans from the middle isle of Lidl than making an investment into a commercial air conditioning unit.

Tommy is a very friendly host and the chalet had really everything you might need. I felt so cosy there.

Check in at 4 pm is, on average, a little bit later than many other places.

It was not my first time to Oakview Chalet. As the first time, I was delighted to stay there again! I always feel home in Scotland and particularly to this location (Glencoe areas). As before, everything was very clean and comfortable. I loved the wee Scottish coo on the bed to welcome you 😊 (that was new). Add to this, some wee snacks in the kitchen were appreciated (this was new too 🙂). Again, the place was sooooooo quiet! Wich I value a lot! And glad I was able to meet the owner this time, Tommy, a very kind person and available if need to. Now, it's like a ritual for me to come to Oakview. I will come back again for sure 🙂

Superb location, spectacular view, quiet , private…very comfortable, we can highly recommend the Chalet. Tommy was very welcoming, hatted about the area and the mountains.

No issues at all

There was quick and uncomplicated communication with the host. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The view is very nice. There were also a few things provided in the kitchen that we could use to create breakfast.

Superb location if you like to be out in the nature away from the tourist hustles of Fort William. Stunning views onto the mountain range. In the mornings you see deer grazing just meters away from the cabin. The facilities are simple but sufficient, everything is neat and functional, the place is very cozy. The host Tommy was very friendly and helpful. This is a great base to explore the Glencoe region.

Maybe a little overpriced.

Location is good with stunning views of the mountains and close to 3 sisters.

Too much disturbing almost felt like the landlady is spying us. We could not sleep whole night thinking of the landlady. She is so intimidating can’t imagine a person can be so intimidating. Facilities were good but not the lady. oh my God never had this experience before

Great little chalet with amazing views, it has everything you need and is close to many different walks and trails.
