• Communication with the host was fast and efficient • When we reported a cleaning issue, they came back the next day to clean again • The neighborhood felt safe and quiet • The kitchen was fairly well-equipped, though a few basics were missing (like a sponge and dish soap) • They allowed us to check out two hours later than the official time • Since I extended the stay and paid part in cash, they owed me some change — the person managing everything actually came to the airport to give me the remaining 5 MYR, which I really appreciate drop

• There was always a bad smell in the apartment coming from the bathroom • We saw some cockroachs - specially in the kitchen. It’s better to keep all food in the fridge • There was mold in the sink area and tiny flies all over the place. • Hot water was inconsistent — probably due to being on the 9th floor, where water pressure is low — making showers uncomfortable • The elevator system is a disaster — usually one or two are out of service, and we had to wait more than 10 minutes to get one. On some occasions, we had to walk up or down 9 floors because none were working • The common areas are poorly maintained: most gym machines are broken, the pool water is murky, and everything looks old and neglected • The location is a bit far from the city center (about 30 minutes on foot), and there are very few dining options nearby since the shopping mall is mostly abandoned • The fridge didn’t cool properly even when set to maximum

Host changed us to a room on the second floor, as the lifts weren’t working very well at the time we booked. I loved this room as it had bigger windows than the one on the 9th floor, a water dispenser and smelt better. Have also stayed in the room on the 9th floor, and they are very similar, both excellent choices; but if you prefer bigger windows then book second floor :)

Communication via whatsapp was great. Studio apartment is small but has all the things you need for a comfortable stay. We had free access to a small gym and roof top pool. View from the roof top pool was great. I was also given a parking pass when hiring a car for a few days which saved us money. Laundrette on site and easy to use. Would stay again (and did book to stay again) :)

Not controllable by the host: the elevators were unreliable during our stay so book a room on a lower floor if you don't like long waiting times. The room also had the odd funky smell come and go through the drains etc. We have found this common among any condo whilst travelling and it was not constant. Flat was very clean and air con worked and had a small window.

having to park car outside walk and to go all the way to lg2 to come down again and need to enter car park, was a bit troublesome
