Light and spacious three bedroom house in Margate close to beach and amenities

Very spacious and had everything we needed.. Good location.

Although it had a dedicated parking space, the road was very tight and we were blocked in twice and one time someone else had taken the space. This is not a reflection on the property which was lovely it was just a small negative for us. The street was also quite noisy at times especially on the weekend which caused disturbance to our sleep.

Location and facilities were very good.

All excellent, just a couple of things that would enhance a stay further: 1) it would be great to have a picnic table/bench outside or some chairs that could be taken to use the outside space. 2) a few more knives & forks and tea towels. 3) a mirror in the twin bedroom.

We recently stayed at this beautiful house, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood, just a short walk or bus rides from several beaches, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing break. Although there were riots in parts of the country during our stay, we didn’t experience any issues near the house—it was peaceful and calm throughout. The house was well-equipped with almost everything we needed, which made our holiday comfortable and stress-free. We did have a small issue with the sofa bed, as we couldn’t figure out how to open it. When we reached out, the owner kindly came over the next day to help and show us how to use it. Her assistance was appreciated and helpful , one tip for future guests, a video tutorial could be a useful addition to demonstrate how to operate the sofa bed. I love that there were instructions left for us on how to operate the tv and other things in the house, it made things easier.

Great location for bus travel. Services at the end of the road to The centre of Margate, Broadstairs, and Canterbury. The Loop bus arrives every 8 minutes. For food, we liked Sete, High Dive , Greedy Cow and Oast. Easy walk to beach at the other end of the road. Main rooms face east so nice and bright in the morning.

Plumbing! First floor shower - hook for shower attachment is broken and water drains very slowly. Tap in kitchen is also annoying - feels shaky and hot water is marked cold. Winter duvets on beds ! No alternative provided. Missed having private outdoor area.

We were initially impressed by the light and spacious accommodation. It is over 3 floors and all rooms are large with a separate comfy lounge and dine in kitchen.

Unfortunately all the kitchen items required rewashing as dirty or sticky as were the cupboard door handles, handrails etc. (see photos including acrylic fingernail) The hob was very temperamental and kept switching itself off and there is a lovely large fridge but no freezer. One bedroom had a dirty wine glass on the table, 2 socks on the floor and a sticky mark on the velvet chair seat. Floss stick on the bathroom floor plus more.. The showers both had very slow drainage, so much so that we could not use the en-suite shower at all and we all had to use the main bathroom. The ‘supplied toiletries’ was only hand soap, no other products. Tea/coffee was enough for 3 people once! The twin beds are 2’6” wide so only really suitable for very small children. The agency was given the opportunity to remedy the bathroom issue on the first day but responded with ‘we will look into it’ and nothing was done - hence, this review. We were happy with the wifi and the parking space for a small car as the ‘ample off street parking’ was hard to find any empty spots (we came prior to school holiday’s in July). Beware of tap dancing seagulls at 4am on the skylight and the rooms are warm on hot days as no fans. Sadly the area is very rundown but an easy walk in to the town and Margate’s attractions.

Parking space,

Everything was as said was a nice property, nicely decorated and well stocked kitchen to cook for my family.

There was no iron? Even though there was an ironing board and I couldn't find figure out where to put the rubbish I had to Google it that was not fun an ruined the trip so I ended up leaving it and felt bad for doing that!
