Rural, peaceful countryside near a tiny village, sweet cows and their calves in the pasture next door.

No amenities close by--we had to drive into town for dinner and shopping needs. A car is a must. We had trouble locating the property but the owner quickly met us in the village and guided to her house. For some reason I thought we rented the whole house but instead it was the just top floor--a converted attic. A wee bit cozy, but okay.
