Cala Cicala

L’emplacement, le calme. Le parking.

The location was perfect for everything. Supermarket was situated nearby , and its only 2 minutes away from the station. 8-10 minutes by the levanto beach area. Kitchen was well equipped with kitchenware. Air conditioning, fridge, washing machine,.. etc. all included. Host giancarlo was friendly and kind he gave us all instructions , about the zone and the city, even he left us many booklets as a guide. Totally our stay was pretty good.

The bed wasn’t so comfortable, kitchenware doesn’t included the cutlery.

L'appartamento ha soddisfatto le mie esigenze. Il gestore persona cordialissima. Una marcia in più, per me, è data dall'ubicazione, in quanto si trova a c.a m. 200 da un supermercato ed al di là della strada si trova un mercato fornito di frutta e pesce fresco; dista 5/600 metri dalla stazione ferroviaria, solita distanza per la spiaggia ed ancora meno per il centro paese. Altro servizio fornito, chiaramente con supplemento di pagamento, ma molto utile per chi viaggia in auto, è il parcheggio.

Very handy 5 minute walk from station down the hill. Gian gave us a good welcome and tips of things to do. Little balcony and washing line with a few legs provided. A very nice near flat walk to the beach, shops or Restaurants. Supermarket, Pharmacy, Cafe/bar, Bike hire all within 5 mins walk. Pizza restaurant and takeaway at the entrance to the apartment block. Levanto is a very pretty and uncrowded town.

The bed was quite creaky and quite hard. Towels very thin and could do with upgrading. Minor issues.

We had a lovely stay at Cala Cicala. Our host, Carlo, met us at the property and gave us lots of information about the flat and the local area. Levanto is a great location for visiting the Cinque Terre. The flat is less than 10 minutes' walk from the station with frequent trains to all of the Cinque Terre stations. The flat was very comfortable with a really good shower. There are lots of shops nearby if you want to self cater.
