The Nasrid - Apartamento con balcón frente a la Alhambra - Vistas desde la cama

The apartment is in the fascinating old town with a fantastic view of The Alhambra. It’s spacious and very comfortable and the host Samar is very helpful.

The air-conditioner stopped working, and it's a very strange system. Sanar came and fixed it while we were out, but it wasn't working when we got back..so third night no A/C..maybe user error..me..let's see what next guests think

Great views of the Nasrid Palace as described in the apartments description

Due to very poor Mobile Phone signal (Vodaphone ES) outside the apartment it proved difficult to unlock the main door via the App as I had to stand on pavement 10+m away from door to get a signal and then my partner had to wait by the door for the lock to release so she could hold the door open for access. Once in the apartment a physical key was available to open the main outside door. Hopefully guests on a different network/phone will not experience the same issue. Occasional there was early morning / late evening set-out/tidy-up noise from restaurant seating/tables even with windows closed, not too bad but was noticeable.

You can not argue with the quality of the location. It was awe inspiring to look out on Nasrid Palace whenever we wanted. Lots of space, although very small kitchen. Also very close to the pathway up to Alhambra (only 20 min walk), allowed us to go and back back several times during the day (with the Alcazaba, Generalife and day and night tours of Nasrid it allowed us to have a rest and made the Alhambra experience much more enjoyable)

It is complicated to get there because it is in a taxi/bus only zone. Parking is 15 to 20 mins away. So you will likely want to take a taxi to and from. Hosts were helpful to making recommendations/introductions to a local taxi driver. Access is a bit complicated and people not technology savvy may struggle (I don't think my elderly parents could have managed). You need a special app on your phone to get access to the front door via Bluetooth. Check the local calendar when booking, the plaza directly out front was a main location for the Dias de la Cruzes festival with very loud music until midnight each day. It is not a complaint, but you should be aware (the Sunday night, when the festival was over was very quiet by 10pm)

The location with the view of the Alhambra Palace was amazing. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything you needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked the style of the accommodation. Well laid out. Comfortable bed. Good chairs to sit on. Kitchen worked for us. Great view and sits over looking the street and outdoor restaurant below. If you like to feel the energy of the old quarter it is a great location.

A bit cold. The heaters of ran continously on full warmed the place enough to be acceptable. Probably not a probablem in the warmer months. We were there in January.
