Lovely Escape Close to Dubrovnik

It’s a great place to stay.

The host was very friendly and helped us with guidanced. The rooms were spaciouse, clean, well equiped, confortable beds.

We liked everything!!! Ivana welcomed us so nicely. She is so caring and nice person. She explained everything we should know to make our stay joyful.

Nothing!!!

First of all, thank You very much Ivana for having us and for your hospitality! :) Ivana welcomed us in person with a friendly conversation, gave us a lot of helpful tips and hints regarding Dubrovnik and Komolac as well, including Information about buses, tickets and what is worthy seeing in Dubrovnik. She even gave us bus tickets! How nice is that? In the fridge there was cold water waiting for us and grapes :) And secondly: The house we were accomodated had two floors and two bathrooms, which in case if you are booking for more than 2 people is great! Everything was extra clean here, I can see that Ivana is really looking after the house and after her guests' needs too. The kitchen had all you need to cook - including spices, noodles, rice etc, plus even coffee, tea, sugar and some sweets. All the needed appliances were here too, even a toaster and hair dryer, air dryer too. There was a washing machine too, which is great if you are travelling through Croatia for a few days already and need your clothes clean. TV had a looooot of channels, wifi was working great. There was also Air conditioning and a private space in front of the house with a swing chair and place you can sit in the evening and enjoy a glass of prošek.

There was no such a thing!

The apartment is a little house the owners used when they built their own house on the same property. It has everything you can expect. The airco was situated on a very strategic place, which made it possible to cool both stories of the house. For lunch and dinner we can advise Pizzeria Laus, which serves very good quality and big portions of food in the nearby village of Mokošica. From the apartment it's a 40 minutes walk, which is a good thing after eating to let the food settle a bit. ;-)

If I have to find something negative, it has to be the parking that can be a bit of a hassle in high season, but was always solved by the owner in a swift way and will be solved in near future by adding private parking.

Good Location. Only 3 minutes Walk to the bus stop 1A/1B. It takes about 15 min by bus directly to the entrance of Dubrovnik old town. Everything is perfect. It was a 5 Star stay in this appartement, actually it's a small house.

Excellent hosts, excellent accommodation, highly recommend. Has everything you might need and more for a nice visit to Dubrovnik.
