Clean and quiet apartment. Big windows bring light to the place. Nicely renovated. Well worth the money.

No complaints whatsoever.

The place is calm and silent but a bit far from "everything". It is close to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Verla Mill Village.

I texted to the owner in relation to Internet because initially I couldn't remember that there was no Internet in the apartement. He/she didn't respond at all. Could have written something like please check on the webpage of the apartement that the fee doesn't include Internet or something like that, but he/she remained completely silent. Otherwise this is a very basic apartement, not ideal for longer stays.

The buildings are quite old and run down externally, but surprisingly nicely renovated inside. The room was clean, the bed seemed reasonably new and there was ample room for 1-2 people. The room had a simple kitchen that was more then enough to serve me on a one night stay. There’s a Lidl nearby to get the fridge stocked and Kuusankoski and Koivumäki centers and Veturi Shopping Center are easily reachable by car.

The location is quite remote, but at least the neighborhood seemed quiet. On the topic of quietness, there seemed to be hardly any noise isolating between the rooms and you can easily hear people talking or taking a shower in other rooms. Luckily other visitors were as focused on sleeping as me during my stay. My main issue was that there weren’t proper curtains and the yard lights lit up my room way too much even though the blinds were closed. Had it been summer I wouldn’t have slept a minute. Some light blocking curtains would be a cheap upgrade with a huge impact.
