Lime Hill Hotel

Nice quiet property with great view. Patio is beautiful, room is clean.

It's not an apartment. It's a very clean comfortable room, but no fridge or kettle in the room. The only table and chair is on the patio, if its raining, you are out of luck. It's a good hike uphill, but there is a small market 5 minutes away.

Lime Hill, sadly, came with high reviews but was highly disappointing. When I asked the host about how I could arrive, I got very confusing replies. There was an apparent unwillingness to help. The introduction to the hotel and the room was just this much: This is your room, this is your bed, do you want to go on a cave tour tomorrow? Things guests should know: if you book a large bed or three bed room, you would get as many beds prepared as the number of people. I had booked a large double bed room but was given a three single bed room. Only one bed was prepared and others were without sheets or pillow covers. I asked for another bed to be prepared, and the host asked: are you waiting for someone to join you on that bed? I said I would use it to work, because there are no chairs or tables in the room, they said we only give one bed. He reminded me multiple times to switch off the air conditioning when I went. The radiators don’t work, only the ac. No slippers inside the room though the bathroom has no separation so when you shower it will stay wet for a long time. Soap provided on asking. The hotel was shown to come with a kitchen but I wasn’t given any information. In fact when I asked for drinking water, the host, who was busy washing his car for hours, said, take water, and pointed to the pipe with which he was washing his car. I was flabbergasted. I asked about kitchen and he didn’t show me but did some gestures about where it was. I found the kitchen myself. No help regarding where is drinking water or what I could use. This was absurd. My booking came with washing machine but they said they charge 5 laris for it. Payment was asked immediately. When I paid, they gave me the wrong change. I had to explain properly as if to a student. This took more than ten minutes at 10 pm.

The room had one bleak light. Its window just faced another house’s wall. I asked if they had a better view room and they said no that is reservation. They had multiple rooms on my floor, with better views, hopefully a better window for light and air, and they had rooms on ground floor too. There was no one on the property apart from me so I don’t know why they lied to me. This was a misrepresentation because my booking showed a room with a view and also a large double room, not a three single bed room. At one point you have to stop arguing and accept and move on. So I made do. And when I was in the room at 12 in the afternoon, I think the lady had come, tried opening the door twice. I heard and went out. By this time she was in the other room. Came out. And I said oh it was you. I don’t know what she wanted. She didn’t apologize for trying to barge in. I said I am not feeling well so I am resting to which she said, no problem. No problem. I don’t understand why was she trying to get in and also didn’t appreciate this need to explain myself for staying in. Argh! I wish I hadn’t gone to Lime Hill. Not only are the hosts uncaring, they can’t be trusted. Why would you not give your guest a good room in the category they booked when you have all of them free? I think they just don’t care. The room was dirty too. There were dead flies and dust. Of course the air conditioning can’t warm up the room. Sadly I had to even extend one day because I wasn’t feeling well. Stay away from this place!
