-The host -Location -Design -equipment Claudio is excelent, flexible and helpful host. He organised cheaper car rental option, picked us up on the airport, and recommended some good places and gave us small, but very kindly gifts. He was help us in every way. Special thank to the "car mechanic" police guy too.

-local mad woman in the apartman, with blue opel corsa, who started yelling other people after we parked on "her" last parking place and she blocked our car with her car (there is no license plate board or any other sign, and the parking place is public place there) -Mosquitoes

Very good public transport connection near Machico - Funchal. The airport is nearby. Cheap taxi fares.

Great location close to airport. Host (Leandro) picked up us from airport in the night and brought us to the apartment. He was nice and very polite

Noise (landing and taking off airplanes). But this I counted with. For such a good money, this is acceptable.

The host's daughter was patiently waiting for us at 3 in the morning as our flight was delayed. That was very kind!

Very spacious and well equipped apartment with ocean views. Everything was fine. Free parking, fast WiFi, good communication with the owner. Close to Machiko beach and good connection to the road network to explore the island.

The host was very kind! He showed us the apartment and picked us up from the airport. The apartment itself was clean and has a nice ocean view. Perfect if you arrive at the airport and want something nearby, and for walks to Machico.

Very welcomed helpful friendly owner. Spotless clean. Very comfortable place with beautiful view to the sea. Huge balcony. Bus stop to town and Funchal nearly outside the door. You can see and hear the planes. It doesn't bother me because the value for money is unbeatable. Thanks
