Absolutely idyllic, all you could need is there.

4ft double is too tiny, personally I would compromise the bed side cabinets for a bigger bed

It was lovely & clean. We loved the location. The park was great for the kids. We loved that the kids had a separate bedroom. And being able to park just outside the lodge was a lovely bonus too

The restaurant on site was very over priced. We would have eaten there more if it was more reasonable. Nice enough just too expensive and not family friendly enough

There was some confusion regarding the code for the key box. Booking.com sent a pin number but this wasn't the correct code. Fortunately, I was able to phone the owner and the problem was easily resolved.

Not enough storage for clothes. A shelf in the bathroom for toiletries would also be useful

Location was great. Views were lovely

The decking outside the entrance of the lodge extremely slippery as I had a bad fall. I landed on my side to which I hurt my ribs. I wanted to bring this attention to prevent anyone else hurting themselves.

The view, ease of parking, the warmth and the kitchen and bathroom facilities. The property was clean and the hosts accommodating re arrival time. The free round of golf was a pleasure and we also enjoyed a meal in the Wheal Dream restaurant close by.

The mattresses and bedding. The bunk beds were short, with not much height between the top and bottom bunk. Fortunately my adult daughter is 5.2. The mattresses, particularly on the bunk beds, were quite uncomfortable and the pillows very flat.

Great location; beautiful views and easy access to all the popular places; lovely walks with our dogs too. Attentive service and good restaurant on site. We would certainly recommend.

All good but could be improved with the addition of a gate to the rear garden for pet safety. This was a smaller lodge but nonetheless a mole size for us, a couple with our two small dogs.
