Hilltop Getaway

5min drive to Wilderness and beaches, beautiful scenery (up in Hoekwil, just outside Wilderness) - Close to shops and restaurants. Bed was comfy and unit was super clean. We were pleasantly surprised by everything the owner had in this self catering unit. There was nothing we needed! Was so comfortable and convenient with washing machine and laundry sheets to use for washing clothing. Clothes line in front of unit, beautiful garden and walking trail through forest. Had our own Weber to braai and fully equipped kitchen with everything you can thing of. Absolutely loved this gem and would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Wifi was no issue and unit has a large fridge - bathroom was clean and modern. We will most definitely stay here again.

TV Channels were very limited (E-TV and E-TV extra) - but then again, you are there on holiday to do things, go to the beach and sight seeing and not to watch TV LOL!

The host was very wonderful people.The place has every single thing we need.We have everything we need to cook from spices, cooking oil,u can even bake if u want too.Its as if we are in our own house.Even shampoo, lotions beach towel etc u name it. U can even buy veggies from them that they planted and they sell homemade bread too. And the dogs are adorable too. We highly recommend this place. Location is central, close to knysna, George, Wilderness. Definitely will stay there again.

Comfortable, clean everything you need for self catering and very well priced.

We liked the fact that it was such a quiet farm location, away from the sea which is easily accessible. The hosts are very generous and provide filter coffee, tea, herbs and spices. The bed is comfortable, the walks are at the doorstep and all in all, a good night sleep is guaranteed.

A hot tub for bathing would have been welcome! Plus a sturdy bedside table on either side of the bed.

We did not have breakfast and the location was superb. The host was super friendly and we would recommend them to all of our family and friends We had a friend visit us and it turned out that they also knew each other. The area is a close knit community and extremely nice place to visit... Would recommend this to one and all...

Hilltop Getaway ticked all our boxes. Harald, our host, was very welcoming and informative. Impeccably clean, cozy, comfortable, well built and equipped. The two dogs were beautiful and so friendly. We fell in love with the entire Hoekwil area and had a wonderful experience in the quaint village pub, Hoeka Toeka, with live music from an outstanding Boere Orkes, which was incredibly special and unforgettable!! I highly recommend Hilltop Getaway to anyone looking for an exceptional farmstay within close proximity to all the beauty along the Garden route. Thank you Harald.

The location is magical! Eden forests at their best! The friendliest, most beautiful dogs to accompany you on your walks around the property :)
