ZORBAS No 3

Adorable studio apartment right across from the beach. The unit was clean & cute, with a kitchen stocked with cooking and eating tools. The owner is great at communicating about check-in and the available free private parking behind the apartments. WiFi worked great.

Well…the LOUD music from the next door Fish Tavern and Sports Bar was unbearable. It’s supposedly closes at 2330, but that wasn’t the case when I was there. Bring ear plugs and you’ll be okay. Wish that I’d had some.

Very good location!!!! 5 minutes walk to the beach.

The apartment smaller than in a photo. It is cosy but nothing special to be honest. No cleaning service at all. Bin liners not provided, You need to buy them (or use plastic bags from shopping). Big rubbish bins outside apartment, emptied not every day, only when they are full. Kitchen utensils very basic. Toilet tank does not work properly (owner knew - was something normal for him). Every time we flushed the toilet we had to shake the toilet tank to make it full with water. Landlord could not know how to make air conditioning working properly. Few times cockroaches were spotted in a room although window in a kitchen/lounge was never opened.

Very close to the beach and restaurants. The place was clean, nice and quiet. Air conditioning was a big help. There is free wifi at a good speed. The host is very nice as well. I would come back again.

If you’re there to stay at the beach the whole day and you are rather looking for a place to sleep and shower, the apartment is perfect. However, the toiletries are insufficient (the toilet paper was barely enough, the towels were not changed during a week, the shower gel was enough for one shower, etc. Truth is we didn’t ask for more, so I don’t know if this is an option). It would be really useful if the kitchen had at least a little stove/frying pan, to prepare a proper breakfast.

Excellent location. The room had everything we needed and George was the perfect host.
