Very nice host. Convenient location and wonderful view from the window. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary for comfortable living.

The apartment is extremely spacious, well equipped and has a lovely balcony overlooking the small harbour. WiFi is excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The washing machine (and dryer) and drying rack were very useful for our stay. The comfortable sofa and TV with Netflix was great on an evening. We were also fortunate enough to be able to see the northern lights from the balcony, which was fantastic. The host was very prompt and responsive to an issue we had with the shower draining and came over within minutes of my contact to resolve the problem. Laukvik is a small village about 30 minutes drive from Svolvaer and although it may seem a little out of the way, we loved the drive as the landscape seemed to change with every journey. Some great hikes not far away including Matmora. There is also a small but very well stocked grocery store in the village and a cafe/bistro with limited opening hours in the off-season. The coffee roasterie is also worth a visit to buy coffee (though it is not a cafe). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

No kettle or hairdryer. The kitchen could do with a few more items such as a baking dish, wooden spoons (stirring implements). Otherwise

Beautiful and well eqquiped house with a wonderful terrace to the harbour. 100% relax and silence. We enjoyed our stay here.

Just be aware what Laukvik is. It is a tiny village 35 minutes drive from the main road and far from the most beautiful hiking routes & beaches in West Lofoten.

we struggled a bit with the induction cooker- it was very sensitive and switched of several times during cooking. But not a major issue.
