"I was sad to leave; could have stayed longer here and spent less time in Berlin."

The apartment was large, generously and tastefully furnished and had real character. It was not too far to walk to the station and all the sights.

As with many properties in Germany there is no lift so it may not suit some people, being on the second floor.

close to all the locations in Leipzig that I wanted to visit ease of finding the location of the apartment upon arrival good transport connections (public transport in Leipzig)

construction works nearby, so there was no long sleep in the morning :-)
