Conveniently located , bright. Airy. Modern. Clean

Lovely spacious flat with good views over the bowling green to the sea. Very stylish and comfortable. Amelia was very helpful when we arrived after dark. A week in February and beautiful walks along the shore. International Stores nearby wonderful for coffee and supplies. We have no car but Uber is working.

The instructions need updating as the key box is now middle of three. There are good recycling facilities outside but the info in the flat contradicted this. The heating control was all over the place showing 40 degrees sometimes although obviously untrue. Communal lift a bit smelly but they often are.

Good location - close to the sea as well as close to northdown road and the bus services which take you around the coastal towns as well as to Canterbury. It also had a fully equipped kitchen so was ideal for a longer stay. It has two bedrooms - one with a double bed which was really comfortable and one with two single beds. Heating was quick and easy to use once you got used to the controller. Shower was hot and powerful.

Small things but entrance to the shower is a bit narrow, there is also no full length in the main bedroom, and tiles were a bit loose in the kitchen. I would also suggest improving the instructions to enter the building as I found it quite confusing - a few pictures would have helped, especially as I arrived in the dark. Overall however, it was a very pleasant stay and I enjoyed my time there and will likely book again.

The beds were comfy

Booking information of how to access property were not sent prior to stay. Had to contact the ‘host’ via app, who did not sound happy at all to take a call. The communal area was awful. The apartment itself seemed ok, but no heating, again contacted the host as it was a digital thermostat which can be remotely controlled. Heating only reached 10 degrees and switched off. No instructions given despite asking and have kept the messages. Not acceptable for a cold evening in October with a family. My children were wrapped in multiple layers. Tiles on kitchen floor were not grouted to floor and some were broken, the apartment was tired compared to photos, and the sofa very hard and uncomfortable. Glad we only stayed 2 nights-even then I had contemplated finding somewhere on our second night but in the end just made the best of it
