Great location and view

No toilet seat and the hairdryer didn’t work

Location is amazing, view of the Mediterranean from bed + best balcony. Once installed everything is 50m away : groceries, taverna, beach, pier etc. Kalami is a dream, but Gialiskari beach (a short 5 min walk) is even better/quieter. I got the bus up from Corfu Town and you can walk down (with a suitcase - steep) easily from the bus stop. (Host told me I'd have to get a car/taxi!). I stayed end of April/start of May - so very few people.

Wifi is useless (get an esim - I found ones for $1/1gb) I stayed end of April/start of May - and no shops were open in Kalami (they opened last few days of April - you'd definitely need a car before this because drinking water) and there was near constant noise as everyone got ready for the season (weed wacking, diggers, handy men for days on end etc.).

Out dated - needs modernising

Small, quiet village with a beach sand a few small shops for the basics. Fantastic view and a few letters from the water. 2 tavernas on the beach with loungers food and cocktails. The apartment is basic but clean and all functional. Discuss enough to not feel crowded

A washing machine is needed to keep clothes and towels clean and dry. Beds are old and not very comfortable. Kitchen is basic, a microwave would be great although space is limited

The location was perfect.

The check in was a comedy of errors. The property is managed by another agent called Eos Villas. They use their own checkin app which is confusing on top of booking.com. I saw that the property was ready for checkin early as per my request. I was told the keys would be in the door or under the mat. They were not. I messaged the staff on both their platform and booking.coms. I waited 40 minutes before a reply and an hour until the cleaner turned up with the key. She was sorry but got no apology from Eos Villas. I was asked on my last day to complete their government forms all the info they already had. This given I was on a tour was inconvenient and annoying given the timing. I could write more but I don’t have the strength. communication skills were really lacking gor customer service! The flat is very basically furnished and its a shame there isn’t a double bed and I found the pillows too thin and mattress too hard. I was so uncomfortable I left a day early and nothing was said by the management! The wifi dropped out and there is little signal range in kalami overall which was tricky trying to arrange things. I loved Kalami and the location but overall it was not a good experience.
