Kingfisher Cabin

It was a very comfortable cabin, really well equipped. It has everything you would want. The cabin has its own private area included car parking area. The lake is immediately in front of the cabin and provides excellent fishing. It doesn’t have wifi but phone signal is good.

There was nothing to dislike about the cabin. This was our 3rd visit and wont be our last. If I have to be picky I'm a bit of a lamp person and would like to have a choice of lighting instead of having the main light on .

The cabin and location were perfect. We loved the privacy. Everything we needed was provided. It's the small touches like that which sets this apart from other places. The fishing was brilliant and the carp were in such good condition. Can't wait to return

Peace and quiet the cleanliness, what’s not to like

Perfect place to relax, secluded and private. Kitchen had everything it needed if you want to stay in and cook So lovely and peaceful sitting and watching the birds and ducks over the lake! No wifi so TV only had free view channels - Iv put this as a positive as that’s what this kind of trip is about! 15 minutes drive to Lincoln which is a lovely day out

A welcome book or guest book would be nice so we could have seen nearby recommendations for walks, pubs, cafe’s etc. We arrived in the evening so having the automatic lights or heating on would have been a nice treat to turn up to but of course this isn’t essential! The mattress is very firm - but again this is personal preference and did not tarnish our trip at all! There is no tea/coffee, sugar, oil, salt/pepper etc so remember to pack all of your essentials - thankfully we had done this :)

The location was amazing, so quiet and the fishing was great too. I loved the fact you had exclusive use of the water in front of the cabin. The cabin was well equipped, private and very warm and cosy. It was a fantastic place to spend xmas.
