The apartment was spacious and warm. Comfortable bedroom. Kitchen well equipped and we had Netflix !

Unclear instructions led to us having no hot water on second day. Resolved after contacting owner but why was the hot water not on a timer like most places. Bathroom taps loose.

Comfortable clean

Windows are difficult to open. A lot of noise from traffic outside also dog barking across the road in someone' s garden no private parrking ecxept on street we were afraid our car would be damaged Some damp smell also in the property

Location was perfect easy to find

Musky smell when coming upstairs but we got over it while in the apartment but definitely noticed when coming through front door.

The location was convenient and easy to access, and collecting the keys on arrival was straightforward. The apartment itself was spacious and suited our needs in terms of layout.

There was a strong sewage-like odour throughout the apartment, particularly in the kitchen, which persisted despite airing the space. There were also multiple visible cracks around the walls and windows that gave the impression of structural movement, and at one point a bottle placed on the floor rolled on its own, suggesting the floor may not have been level. We later became aware the building had recently been impacted by an incident that had not been disclosed prior to our stay. We raised this with the host after our stay, but the response focused on reassurance rather than addressing the lack of prior communication. In our view, the apartment was not in a suitable condition to be rented without clear prior disclosure.

A bit expensive for off peak in rural town but local cafes etc lovely
