"Great location, apartment worked well for our group"

8.0

This is a cute apartment in an ideal location. Walking distance to shops and cafes. The owners had fun decorating the apartment and keeping to the Shakespeare theme (great for us - we were in Stratford upon Avon the next day). Plenty of comfortable beds and had what we needed for cooking breakfast in the kitchen.

While the decorations are fun and thematic, there are too many of them. We frequently had to move things around to have room on the small table, and it was a little bit hazardous walking around. It left the apartment feeling rather cluttered.

"Home from home comfort and a very attentive host made for a great stay."

8.0

A great location in the middle of the National Forest and exceptional value for money. From the first communication with the host, it was clear he was passionate about ensuring his guests had a pleasant stay, checking in several times to ensure I had everything I needed. Location is great if you have a furry friend with you. There is a great dog walk just 3 mins away on foot. You can walk for 5 minutes or 5 hours, the paths are seemingly endless as you wonder through fields, woods and past lakes, the scenery was stunning. Although some parts of the flat show a bit of wear and tear, the decor is homely with a tasteful Shakespeare theme, and the place was spotless. My dog and I had a great stay, and would not hesitate to return if we were in the area.

As a solo traveler I had the pick of bedrooms and the squeaky bed frame wasn’t an issue as there was no one to disturb when I rolled over except myself. It was quite loud though and may be an issue if you were sharing the room. Front bedroom sits right next to the street. Generally not too busy overnight, but traffic picked up during peak times. If you are a group or family a few sets of earplugs would be advisable.
