Viking House Apartment

Fijn appartement, terras met mooi uitzicht. Welkomst drankje in koelkast. Telefoon nummer van Taxi chauf gekregen, die was heel betrouwbaar en altijd volgens afspraak op tijd. Zonder hem kom je negens, tenzij je een motor/ scooter rijdt. Onbeperkt drinkwater aanwezig. Ligging lijkt in 1e instantie ongunstig, maar uiteindelijk loop je zo naar een strandje en als je door wandelt ben je bij de pier en nog wat verder op het populaire strand met vele restaurants (Sairee beach). 7/11 om de hoek. Tip: baai AOW Leuk absoluut een chill strand met heerlijk restaurant en fijn barretje!

Kleine badkamer. Beste klim naar boven... Bedden zijn voor Thaise begrippen zacht, maar wij vonden ze (de losse topping) niet fijn, ook de kussens niet maar we kregen op verzoek wel meteen andere. Niet overal nachtkastjes.

Wat een mooie lokatie met schitterend uitzicht. Prima ontvangst en de eigenaren waren behulpzaam en kwamen met goede tips om naar toe te gaan.

De klim naar boven, maar het is wel prima te doen als je in normale conditie ben.

Very nice apartment with a magnificent view on the sea and the town below. A short walk from the town with many restaurants. Great terrace to relax after a nice day. Also the host are very helpfull and concerned about your wellbeing during the stay. And also very soft beds, which is also rare in Thailand.

The walk up the hill can be exhausting when hot, but it is short and it is also very easy to rent a scooter and park in front of the apartment.

Überall Flecken. Die Türen schließen nicht richtig. Überall dreckig. Kleine Tiere in der Dusche. Schimmel im Badezimmer.

Ruim en rustig. Heerlijk zwembad en fijn bed. Prachtig uitzicht.

De badkamer in ons appartement was wel aan een grote schoonmaakbeurt toe.

The property is very spacious, with panoramic views, set in well kept gardens with a lovely little pool. It’s very close to the beach, dive centre, Koh Tao yoga, shops and restaurants but in a really peaceful location. Initially we didn’t want a scooter, so walked to all the amenities - (10 mins) but because the property is set on a hill, and then had loads of additional steps to reach the top apartment we found the walk back home quite challenging in the heat, so in the end gave in and got a scooter and wished we’d done it sooner!

Both of the wardrobes have drawers which don’t work and need fixing. We found the matresses too soft, and the duvet covers were old and faded and had gone a bit bobbly to the touch. I had to turn mine inside out, but then it was fine.
