Al Dos

Beautiful location up in the mountains. Great communication with the host and a warm welcome from Aunt Dalma 😊 Well equipped with everything we needed for an overnight stop, and longer had we been able to stay.

Needs to be paid for in cash. Not so much a dislike as an inconvenience…especially if you’re like me and don’t read the booking confirmation properly! It does state payment in cash and with banks located nearby it was quickly resolved.

The host assumed that we have an additional undeclared person, which was nonsense, and however she insisted on that - it was so strange The location is far from livigno, despite the name - you need a car to get to the ski area. The house is in a road turn, and is dangerous to leave from home (kamikaze style, no visibility). You need to throw away garbage very far, distance by car. The host was coming in the most unexpected moments to assign me tasks - to get down to move the car,, for her to clean the snow, or to tell me to swipe the balcony - and didn't understand English. She was insistent, It didn't matter that we were checking out in half an hour or I was I'm the towel, after the shower - she had her agenda and did not move from the door. The door of the dishwasher did not open completely. In the second night, I woke up and it was extremely cold in the apartment. I had to call the host and explain that I have kids with me, she had some calls back and forth with her aunt from the property, who turned the heat back on - at 2-3 am.

Good location, especially if you want to use different ski areas. Quite close to Trepalle (you can use skibuss) and also good base to go to Livigno (15 - 20 min to Carosello) and Bormio (about 40 min to the lift) but here car is a must. Walking distance to the shop. Mrs Dalma cared about us on place very well, also Whatsapp contact with owner (Simona) was quick and efficient. Apt is clean, well-kept and smart designed, beds are comfortable, kitchen is good equipped (4 possible ways of making morning coffee makes a difference :))

Small remark: towels smell of dampness, like it would be not quite dried after washing. Rest of things was above expectations!

Overall everything was fine. Owner lady was very helpfull, she brings us fresh eggs, local cheese, some pastry. Place is well equiped, close to food store.

Bed could be more comfortable, also a little bit noisy from neibours living in second floor. Electric fuse box is inside bedroom which also make some noise.

We had a fantastic week at Al Dos! Mrs. Dalma was incredibly helpful and went the extra mile by surprising us with fresh eggs and excellent goat cheese. The cozy atmosphere and thoughtful gestures made our ski trip even more enjoyable. Conveniently located near the ski lift for Mountain Mottolino, this apartment offers easy access to the slopes. Numerous duty free shops surround the area. Additionally, the proximity to the great restaurant "La Pernice" adds to the appeal, providing a variety of dining options within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect

This place was awesome! I would certainly stay here again. It’s everything you need for a stay up in the mountains - cozy, close to the slopes, and really feels like you are in the middle of the beautiful snowy nature. Cannot recommend more!
