The property was spacious and very clean and tidy. The kitchen had an amazing fridge freezer and 2 nice compact balconies . We were given clean towels on a regular basis and the bins were cleared every day

The stairs to the bedrom areas were quite steep but did know that before we arrived. The shower curtains didnt fully close so water went onto the floor but this is usual with a lot of showers

We stayed in no5, which is on the top floor. All the rooms are big. Bathroom ceiling is low, so have to be mindful of hitting your head (which we were informed of). Everything you need for self catering. Lovely balcony. Aircon in bedroom and lounge area

Bed a bit firm for my taste.

I really enjoyed the attention to details and the flat was ready with all the essentials

The best thing was the location without a doubt. Lixouri is such a nice town, especially in the evening (at least in summer, cause this is when the people are out), and the apartment is just far enough to avoid the noise from the main streets but close enough to get there walking (5-10min), but it's still within the city, so it's a nice walk. Second, Dimitris was very kind and always available to solve any problem we encountered. They were also very flexible with the check-in and check-out, which we appreciated a lot. Third, the apartment is spacious and clean, with lots of storage space, tables, chairs, etc. Also kitchen utensils and kitchenware were very good, lots of new plates, pots, pans, glasses and cups (please add a cutting board!). Windows can be shut dark to avoid the sun in the early morning (and also the heat). And all of them have mosquito nets, including the bedroom's balcony door; that's very useful! The bathroom is also huge!

The beds are SO uncomfortable. To be honest, we didn't tell Dimistris because we wouldn't expect them to actually change the mattresses, and we saw past reviews on booking complaining about the beds, so nothing new, but you could really feel all the bumps from the springs inside. It was also very hot inside, which we also expected for the attic, so the AC helped but I'd recommend having them updated. As I told Dimistris, the apartment could really benefit from having a few extras like a broom and a mop to be able to clean up a little bit, especially in the kitchen, if you drop something, or if you bring sand from the beach. Since there is a kitchen, so you expect people to cook a bit, it would also be nice to leave some basics for the guests, such as oil, salt, sugar or coffee and, above all, a couple of bottles of water, since the tap water is not drinkable.
