Casa Grillino

Great region, amazing village, wonderful house, lovely host! Old typical house in a nice little village above Locarno. You really instantly feel like at home. Super quiet, charming. We loved the place, the kids didnt want to leave it

Nothing! You just have to know that there are stairs and the parking (50CHF a week) is not just next to the house but it is super close (like 3 min from the house by foot). Also bells are ringing from 7am ;) Village life, not a big deal

Wir hatten das Studio gebucht. Tolle Aussicht und einen idyllischen kleinen Garten in dem man sich wunderbar ausruhen konnte. Das Studio ist liebevoll eingerichtet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist mitten in Brione s/M. Super Betreuung ab Buchung bis Rückfahrt. Anita ist eine TOP Gastgeberin. Man fühlt sich wie Zuhause. Die Unterkunft ist oberhalb von Locarno. Wir haben unser Auto nicht mehr gebraucht (kann in der Nähe in einem öffentlichen Parkhaus abgestellt werden), da die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel top sind. Wir waren am Moon and Stars Festival und konnten problemlos mit dem Bus praktisch von Haustüre bis Festival fahren. In unmittelbarer Nähe zur Unterkunft hat es sehr gute Restaurants. Wir können das Casa Grillino uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.

Da gibt es nichts!

Super leuk oud bakkershuisje uit de 17e eeuw. Het ligt net boven het wat drukkere centrum van Locarno (10 min met de auto omhoog). Het wijkje is heel idyllisch. Huisje is goed uitgerust, ook de bedden zijn fijn. Fijne doucheruimte die een beetje aanvoelt als een spa. 's Avonds / 's Nachts is het er lekker rustig. Voor 50 EUR extra per week kun je parkeren in een garage die op een paar minuutjes lopen van het huisje ligt, dus geen risico op hagelschade. Fijne host, die een paar huisjes in de verhuur heeft. Omgeving is prachtig, zeker de 2 valleien die boven Locarno liggen zijn de moeite waard om een dagje te bezoeken. Het Lido in Locarno is perfect voor een zwemdag met de kids.

Geen airco, de bovenste verdiepingen zijn heel warm bij warm weer. Heel veel trappen, huisje is absoluut niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Veel muggen.

The landlord, the atmosphere and the great view on Locarno. I loved the comfortable beds. The host was very nice and helped when help was needed. Very good.

I didn't like that we didn't have the shampoos that were promised on the booking side, because no one of us brought bath stuff.

Schönes Apartment inmitten uriger tessiner Steinhäuser, mega Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore.

Best feature of the studio is the set of doors opening up and letting in a fantastic view on Lago Maggiore to the breakfast/lunch/dinner table. For a studio, I thought that the kitchen was pretty well equipped, and in spite of it being rather close to the church tower (bells), the place was nicely calm and quiet.

Everything was lovely! Anita was warm and welcoming, space was comfortable and felt like home.

My daughters were surprised that we had to go outside to get up to the sleeping areas, but it wasn’t so bad.

A house with long history; a very very lovely friendly and helpful landlady; quiet little town with puzzle like footpaths....

Cracking stairs, especially in the night when one has to use WC.
