Good location, very spacious. Clean & tidy

No microwave cover, only a travel hairdryer and the storage could be better in the bedroom. A few inexpensive changes and it would lift it even more.

Clean, warm and well appointed

Missing a few kitchen items (peeler, mixing bowls, casserole dish, grater, etc) but otherwise fine

The location was ideal for us - close to Melrose, the Eildons and family we were visiting. The building was interesting as the apartment is in a converted hospital. The videos on the app were useful for finding the front door and putting the bins out. Good shower.

Advertised as having space to sleep 6 but the sofa bed kept collapsing, so I would say there was only really space for 4 adults. The furniture was quite budget. Not enough glasses in the cupboards - e.g. only one fizz glass and no tumblers. No teapot.

Sofa bed isn't very functional as it drops down at one side, ideal for one adult though

Een mooi, schoon en compleet toegerust appartement in een bijzondere omgeving, een voormalig psychiatrisch ziekenhuis. Parkeren voor de deur. Uitleg om het appartement te vinden via video’s was prima. Goede plek om dit deel van Schotland te ontdekken, 50 min van Edinburgh

De bedden vonden wij wat smal, zeker als je lang bent. Suggestie; zet er twee eenpersoonsbedden neer.

Too much information from the owner was received only an hour or so before arrival. I was confused as to whether we were being met with the keys or not, as I was originally told this would be the case, but it changed to us collecting from a lockbox shortly before we arrived. And it is too late to send a video of where to park less than 2 hours beforehand, as I was already travelling. In general there was too much information sent too late in the day. The shower head wouldn't stay up. The toilet had paper in it when we arrived, suggesting it might not have been cleaned.

Clean and good location. Large safe car park. No issues at all.

The apartment was very clean, well decorated, good quality toilet paper, comfy bed, good shower.

The cutlery was diverse and very poor quality, no small food preparation knives, blunt carving knife, horrid glass tea cups TV picture very good but sound was indistinct. It was an old sanitorium and has very high ceilings, and lots of hard echoey surfaces. No proper bedside tables, no dressing table and lack of hanging space for a week's stay.

The key code and access were not simple as the instructions were not clear enough. When the key safe was opened the keys dropped a further floor outside and were inaccessible, we had to wait for the owner to bring a further set. Ongoing the main entrance door lock was tricky and a resident told us this was a constant problem with non-residents coming and going. Lighting in the sitting room area was too poor to read by - the dimmer switch in the seating area didn't make a difference. There were no operating instructions for. the microwave or the dishwasher.
