It's a historical building at the excellent location.

The light switches were either broken or unclear how to use. Conventional mechanical switches would be much better.

The hosts were especially kind and helpful and the apartment suited us perfectly. The apartment has an interesting history also and the location was superb, right on the river Spaarne in central Haarlem. Transport fro Schipol was very easy on the 300 bus which stops nearby. About 10-15 mins flat walk to the station. Plenty of restaurants nearby and supermaket with easy walking distance. We would be delighted to stay there again

Nothing at all. All superb. The apartment has a steep spiral stair so may not be so easy for disabled or elderly, or those with very large and heavy bags. That said, we are 75+ and had no trouble at all with access or bags.

This property has plenty of character and is in a great location. We were given a tour of the property upon our arrival, as well as some great recommendations for the area.

This wasn’t a problem for us, but if you have mobility issues, the stairs would prove difficult. Not a problem at all with our experience, just a note for others.

We loved the fact it was an apartment and not just a room. It is a funky warehouse conversion over three levels. It has all the mod cons like washing machine and dishwasher and a fully equipped kitchen. Great views of the Spaarne river and easy access to Haarlem and 20mins by train to Amsterdam. We arrived New Years Eve and had a grand fireworks display. The owner Pieter, was very friendly and helpful and very accommodating when we thought our plans might change. I highly recommend this lovely place.

Really unique and lovely apartment! Clean and had more than enough facilities including a washing machine and hobs for cooking. Really close to everything you will want to do in Haarlem. Hosts Anne Marie and Pieter were so helpful and friendly! Will 100% be coming back to stay here!
