The approach to the property was shabby and unclean. The entrance was also not maintained, litter, dirt and untidy. The flat stank of drains and sewage when we opened the door. The kick plate in the kitchen was loose and open. The dishwasher was not fitted correctly and fell out of the housing when opened onto my wife's foot causing potential injury. This was actually reported by a previous occupier but no action had been taken by Zap holidays. There was no plug in the bathroom sink and still was not when we left. It was not possible to log onto the Netflix channel as advertised. The local agent did not seem concerned and promised a repair to the dishwasher the following day. Heard nothing, saw them again and he gave a poor excuse and promised attendance the following day. Still nothing. It was only when we contacted Booking.com that we had some response. They were excellent in making the local agent take action.

The location at the port of Duquesa was splendid and the apartment was well equipped with machines and kitchen wear. Neat and clean upon arrival.

The dishwasher was not properly fixed and this was not repaired during our stay (despite our complaint the first day). Dirty smell in the bathroom - obviously something wrong with sewage. Additional costs for bedlinen and towels not included in the room rate.

The property is an excellent location next to all the bars and restaurants with amazing views but you can’t hear any of the outside noise so it is great! Also when I was here the air traffic failure happened in the U.K. and the last minute the airline cancelled my flight, I messaged the owners through booking.com and explained the situation they were amazing, they let me stay another night until I found a new flight the next day free of charge!! So understanding and so so helpful!! You rarely see this level of customer service, it was a massive relief at a time trying to find flights home knowing I had accommodation for another night.

Beautiful views and modern appliances.

Our luggage got lost-courier would never have found the apartment-we had to sit on the steps outside Arkwhites store in shifts for 1.5 days to watch out for couriers vans -we didn't have the full address until we arrived and even if we had the courier would still not have found it-courier arrived at 6pm on second day of holiday. I would suggest that any lost luggage is dropped at Zap holidays for collection by clients.Not your fault but we lost a day and a half of our holiday.

excellent location, modern, clean

having to go home!

Having stayed at this property before, we knew exactly what to expect. Since our last visit, there have been a few little improvements which were very welcomed, including a new sofa. Having collected the keys from the helpful ZapTravel, we were able to access our property earlier. Upon entering, we noticed how cool the apartment was, which was great as it was hot outside. We like the little care package that was left and the choice of coffee machines (we knew to take our own pods). Bed is very comfortable, view from the balcony is lovely, perfect for a morning coffee or evening pre-dinner drink. The apartment is in a perfect spot above many restaurants and bars and just above a mini supermarket. Although in the heart of the Marina, the room is very quiet. Free parking all around the outside of the Marina also make it easy to take your case/to from the apartment. Contact with the owner is responsive via Booking.com. We would definitely stay again.

The ONLY thing we could think of was that a few cushions for the patio furniture would make the balcony more comfortable. You couldn't sit out there for long on the wooden chairs.

There were no user Manuel's for hob so we couldn't use it even after trying on line. There was no kettle but the rental agent provided one for us. No dressing table in bedroom to do hair and make up. A long mirror in lounge would have been good as us girls like to see the end result lol. No woman wants to dry her hair in a steamy bathroom as there was two of us and my man likes a long shower. However, the views are incredible of the Harbour and a little user Manuel file to help the renters would be so good. It's a lovely apartment and very nicely done. Enjoy! Helen and Steve March 2023.
