Comfortable apartment, spacious for 2 people with separate sleeping and living areas. Well equipped kitchen made it easy for us to enjoy a few meals "in" during our several day stay. The only negative thing to say about the apartment itself is that the shower is co-located right next to the washing machine, with the shower area consisting of a curtain that pulls around. Not any kind of problem, just slightly strange feel to the shower space. Be aware also that the apartment is on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 floors of stairs to walk up. Apartment location was great - about 6 minute walk to the old town square near the castle (with a number of restaurants, cafes and ice cream shops), yet in a residential area which made us feel like we were just a bit more than short-term tourists. Bed was comfortable but a couple extra pillows would have been nice. Parking out front was always full, but we were able to find space on the street behind the building.

Check-in procedure is to pick up the keys from a different address, not near the apartment (20 min walk, 3 min drive) - would be very inconvenient for anyone without a car. Had to ring the doorbell several times before finally someone came to the door and handed me the keys. No English was spoken, but using Google Translate I was able to receive instructions for getting into the apartment and also the check-out procedure. Suggest to the host it would be helpful to print an information sheet in English and have it available for English speaking guests at check-in. All in all however, we had a very nice stay.
