Caminhada Guest Room

Spotless clean and very friendly reception. Very comfortable. Everything we needed was convenient. It was a shared space in a private home with access to a private en suite bathroom.

The area had very little to offer two weary walkers. Restaurants were closed. We found one open until 9pm. The apartment was difficult to find as it is among a complex of apartment buildings. We had walked past it expecting a sign or notice to be on display. A local man phoned the contact number for us to confirm directions and help us to identify the correct door.

It had everything we needed. Comfortable bed- loved the pillow. Since it was raining hard we could have a little microwave dinner. Right off the Camino.

This is picky but the tub may hurt my feet.

The host was helpful and friendly, including accommodating an early arrival and responding almost immediately when I locked some of my things inside by mistake at check out. The location is perfect the Camino de Santiago or a beach vacation. I appreciated the comfort and cleanliness of the room, bathroom, and terrace. Being able to make coffee and use a fridge and microwave for simple foods was very helpful. There is a drying rack for clothes and a super tiny bathtub washer if you have to wash a few small items.

You get a curtained off room in an apartment. Didn’t feel very private.

We did not know that the place ( a room with a bathroom and a balcony) is a part of the host´s own apartment. It was not very comfortable, felt wierd.
