it was a nice apartment in the village. clean and nice facility.

Super clean and with everything you need including a full kitchen and laundry room.

I wish the directions to the parking spot was a little more clear before we arrived. A small map would be awesome to know for sure how to get to the property.

Very quiet peaceful area, GREAT view, super clean, check in & out was efficient, whole place felt super cozy & comfortable. Also, who doens't love bunnies? - TV is a smart TV - Pullout bed in smaller room does pull away from the main bed. Other side of the room has a big closet space, & has some board games inside. - HIKING. On the fireplace ledge they have maps with a lot of trails that are in the area, the great thing is it also tells you what months they are doable. The Galerie Defago trail... Do this trail. Amazing mountain & valley views, passing through sections of forests that look out of a fairy tale, through the farms & hill sides at the bottom of the mountains... & a cliff side walk (don't worry there's railing!). It was great. The sense of scale and vastness of the mountains can really be felt here. The trail map says doable from April to Oct., it takes about a half hour to get to from the nearby Monthey ville station. - Plenty of grocery stores ~15 min walk away. Train station ~10 min., bus stop at the bottom of the hill near the wood bridge. =Tips for those coming from places where things don't work the same= Stove vents here have a part that pulls out towards you. The confusing thing... is that the power button won't work to turn it on until you pull it out. We honestly just thought the thing was broken & didn't work at first when we tried the buttons and they did nothing. Windows - I'm not a morning person, so I worried about the amount of light that would come in in the mornings. The windows have slide down external remote control shutters, which keeps the rooms nice and dark. Water - The tap water here is better than our bottled water at home. I miss it... Laundry - For those in the US used to hang drying things with hangers or with clips on a clothing line, there is a foldout metal table rack thing that you can put out in the bigger room & hang your stuff on.

That we didn't have the time off work to stay even longer.. That booking.com won't let me write more in each box. The other reviews cover things well, so I tried to include other more practical details in my review, bits of info people may want to know, and about why this is a good area to stay at in general. That and reading me say "--- thing about property is perfect", "---- thing about property is perfect", etc. would get old. Title says it all, the hosts have done an amazing job making this a wonderful and perfect place to stay. It played a big part in making our trip be something great that we will always remember. Also want to thank the hosts for being so accommodating with check in and out times to fit our schedule, airline adjusted flight, and us leaving early to catch the Glacier Express (if anyone is interested you can catch a train from here to Brig, ride GE to Chur, explore the town and museums for ~4hrs and be back in Zurich by evening to fly out the next day if you came in and will leave there). :)

Nice modern styled appartment, simply furnished. Short walk to the local town for an evening meal. Hosts were very welcoming.

Difficult to get to with a car. It is located on a very narrow street and only accessible from one end of the street (the other end is too narrow to turn onto either side a car). Once we figured out how to get there it was fine though.

The place was fantastic with a great view. The hosts were wonderful and helped us when we suffered a breakdown on one of our scooters. We will stay again on the way back.
