The location of the apartment could not have been better. We had a great little balcony overlooking the port and it was right in the centre of Duquesa. The keys were easy to collect, the apartment easy to find, and it had everything we needed for our stay. We had a little issue within 24 hours of arriving, but the representatives of Duquesa Estates (the management company) were brilliant. They made sure we had another apartment to go to and made sure it was to our liking. They couldn't have been more apologetic.

The drains. There was a pungent smell coming from the drains in the apartment - something we just couldn't get rid of. Apparently, it depends which direction the wind is blowing?!?! On our second day in the apartment a pipe burst whilst we were out, and it completely flooded the apartment. Anything on the floor was soaked, shoes, suitcases, boxed items. It couldn't be helped - accidents like that do happen and I must commend Duquesa Estates for sorting out a replacement apartment very quickly.
