The shower hot water tap was off the valve when we arrived, so we struggled to get the hot water working but managed to fix it

The property is in a lovely central location, with the old town only a couple of minutes walk away. Overall, the flat is comfortable, the bed is cozy and the kitchen is well-stocked.

The knob to adjust the water temperature in the shower was broken when we checked in, which meant we only had access to very very hot water - this is something I expect should be fixed before new guests check in. The mugs and spoons in the kitchen weren't clean, which I also think should be checked by owners/cleaning staff before new guests check in.

Single glazing made it a bit noisy but nothing major!

Beautiful little apartment. Very well equipped with everything you might need. Comfortable bed. Well situated. We had a great stay.

You could hear footsteps, talking, vacuum from the flat above.

Where do I start, Have stayed in over a dozen air B&B’s in Margate over the last two years (mainly run buy sea homes by the sea) none of which charged me a deposit fee. 2. Shower was so small you literally couldn’t move in it. 3. Decor was very tired & the flat was only worth a max of £150 not the extortionate fee we could of stayed in hotel no 42 for less 🤬
