Mirador de la Lona

The accommodation was excellent - great location, bright and airy and looks out over a square with cafes. The hosts were very welcoming and kind - they helped me upstairs with my bag when I arrived. There is a bus stop close by and walking (downhill) to the main area of Granada was easy and interesting. The roof top terrace provides a good view of the Alhambra.

Very small shower

The view was unbelievable. Alhambra in plain view. Nice little terrace. Carmen, Rosy and Miguel were quite friendly and accommodating. There is a restaurant there with great food. Don't miss out on the pollo a la plancha ... my son's favorite

This place was amazing - so much so that I want to just keep it a secret in case I ever want to go back to Granada! There are only 2 apartments and they are above the cafe/bar run by the owners. I was the only person staying though, so I had that tiny roof terrace with an incredible view of the Alhambra all to myself! It's also on a super-cute little square in a lovely quiet part of the Albaicin area. The owners, Miguel, met me and handed over the keys and both he and his wife Carmen are lovely, lovely people and we managed to communicate just fine, even though their English was limited and my Spanish was non-existent! It's right on the bus routes, both to the city centre and to the Alhambra, which is really convenient and saves on some hill-climbing! I had to check out really early to take the bus back to Malaga, but Miguel very kindly arranged for a taxi to pick me up and take me to the bus station and even contacted me to let me know the number of the taxi and to check that the driver had arrived.

The owners are very kind and made our stay easy. Miguel and Carmen arranged taxis and provided excellent food at the cafe below (try the pork). An amazing place to be for Easter and watch the processions from the windows!

Very small bathroom

The spacious living room, and radiant heating is warm. The access to rooftop was great - but really cold in the winter so maybe other occupants will appreciate it better in the summer.

The kitchen doesn't have salt, pepper and oil - ingredients that tourist wouldn't want to buy for themselves. so we couldn't do much cooking.

Location and friendly staff

Shower is very tight

It had everything needed. Great location, very reachable part of Albayzin. The kitchen was fully equipped and nice! The rooftop view was simply amazing, both Sierra Nevada and Alhambra were visible.

All was good!
