Room in which I was accomodated was not "pension like" room, more like AirBNB in the basement. Room was clean, but outdated and not so cozy. I had a view directly to the owner's car, no privacy... Generally OK for one night, but it has no addtional value and I would not recommend the accomodation - or at least this specific room.

The location close to all the sights is great, the restaurant is great, even though open for a few hours, fine value for money. The host is welcoming, the facilities compact, but sufficient. Basically, everything was as we expected after reading the reviews, the Booking rating could be even higher. No point in repeating what other people have said before. Only that Meissen is an extraordinary place to visit.

As mentioned in other reviews, the property is located next to a road busy from the early morning hours, and the going is especially fast around 5-6 AM (when traffic lights not yet work?). However, we managed to sleep quite well. It's just the way it is.
