Wheal Rose -Beautifully Fitted Lodge Helston Cornwall

Loved the location - easy to reach some fantastic beaches, days out and supermarkets. The wood fired hot tub was a lovely extra, but took ages to heat up so we only managed to use it twice! We loved that the lodge looked out onto the kids play area, so we could keep an eye on them without having to be with them. The football and rugby golf were a lovely extra to have but we didn't have any time to do it! Could have done with a 2 week stay :)

Both me and my husband are 6ft+ and the double bed was too small for us. It was handy to have a sofa bed that one of us could sleep on, but the double bed was too small. A small niggle, but the TV remote was an absolute pain to get working. We wanted the TV for wet weather entertainment for the children, but it was frustratingly difficult to get the buttons to work! The lodge was perfectly equipped with 4 of everything, but it would have been nice to have a couple of spare spoons, plates, mugs etc.
