Alpaca Inn

The location between the mountains in tranquil surroundings was perfect for walking to places of public interest and restaurants. It was a home away from home, and the house and its interior remind you of a graceful era where family, friends and relaxation were all important.

Everything was perfect for our mixed group of teenagers, middle-agers and e; elderly parent and friend. I could not help thinking it would not work for two parents with toddlers or people who are not animal lovers.

Very relaxing. Big open grass areas for kids to run around and explore. Nice fire pit to braai and make bonfires. Pool to cool down in. Alpaca feeding and Timmy the wired hair terrier keeping us company. Sheba the housekeeper was friendly and helpful.

It was advertised as a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom apartment. It is however a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house. The 3rd bedroom and bathroom is separate from the main house. Probably 50/100m away. This was a problem for us as we had 3 kids and thought that the kids could all sleep together in the 3rd bedroom. Luckily we could make a plan and kids slept on couches in the main house. One can also move the mattresses from 3rd bedroom into main house. Gas smell in 3rd bedroom. Kitchen washing up area is limited.

Farmlike setting in town. Alpaca's feeding out of our hands. Gardens are amazing. Like a family holiday home, so very well set up. Resident staff are fantastic with fresh cut roses in vases all over the house & bedrooms.

No mosquito repellent plug in devices.

Location was lovely. Really enjoyed watching the Alpacas and the pool.

Would have been nice to know up front that the third bedroom was separate to the main house.

Great location, Friendly staff. Great view of mountains and valley from the house and braai area. Pet Friendly and perfect to bring a dog. House has everything in you need to make your stay comfortable.
