The location on a hill among other lovely villages is a good starting point to explore the cinque terre. The hosts gives you a parking card for the train station parking. There is a terrace with a beautiful 360 degree panorama - only the church tower is higher then this terrace in the whole village.

Very narrow spaces, they rented it for six person (2 adults + 4 children) but had only 5 beds plus a couch too short even for an eight year old girl. Non of the doors and windows could be closed normally. Luckily we are slim enough to fit in the shower cabin, but a larger buildt person would not. Not enough toilet paper, just a very small trash bin for six people for five days. The refrigerator is small and in half of it the melting water is dripping in a tray. There is a parking place for you, but usually some will park in the back of your car, so it's difficult to leave the parking place. But of course, if you stay in such an old place, have to accept the inconveniances too.

The main purpose of our stay was to visit Cinque Terre and this was an ideal location to enable us to do that. Francesco very kindly loaned us a card that allowed free parking at Levanto station which was an excellent starting point for discovering the five unique towns by rail with a day pass. The accommodation itself was a challenge for our party of 5 adults. It is quirky and bijou but has many charming qualities and the night time view of the hill villages and Levanto from the roof top terrace was memorable. It was good value for money and Levanto itself is well worth a visit. Much nicer than La Spezia!

The apartment’s terrace gives a grate view to mountains and the sea

When we came to this place, the owner didn’t answer our calls and it was only thanks to the neighbours that we were able to contact the owner, although we have booked this place few hours before arrival. What’s more, we had to wait some time for the owner to prepare the apartment for our stay. Also one blanket was infested by bugs, therefore after using it during a cold night i was bitten all over the body by them.

The view was fantastic and people are very friendly. We couldn't find the property right away and the whole village helped us.

the door locks are horrible, super old and complicated. To much light in the room even with the curtain, was difficult sleep more.
