The Hot water in the shower was intermittent at best.

A beautiful spot close to town on a quiet street. Its decorated really nicely and our room was lovely. We had the whole place to ourselves. The swimming pool was really nice once clean, WiFi was strong, it's quiet at night (super rare for Mexico) and really comfortable.

It had a bit of a posh hostel kind of vibe, except there's no host or staff on premises. There was a price list of all breakable items in our room which we really didn't like, as well as signs everywhere stating rules and instructions. We felt the contact person via WhatsApp, Martin, had a bad attitude. His favourite saying is 'it's not a hotel'. The pool was dirty and he didn't clean it, instead we had to clean it ourselves and keep following him up for updates and instructions. He scheduled maintenance work for when we were staying, told us the day before, then moved it to the day we left after we asked - just strange and inconsiderate things a good host wouldn't do. There's no breakfast or coffee, no cooking oil, no water. If there were other guests I don't think it would have been a great stay.

Loved the presentation of the interior. It spoke to our inner hippies. Room was spacious and comfortable, and the shared facilities were good. Lovely shady pool area. Booked again for our last night after travelling round Yucatan. Highly recommended.

The surrounding area is a little scruffy. We were a bit concerned as we approached, but then delighted when we saw the place. It looks as if there is quite a lot of property renovation going on around.

Great location and nice little hostal type situation. We stayed 9 days and staff was very responsive. No complaints. Good value and fun decor.

Seriously this was one of the best stays i had so far. We fell in love with this place straight away. So much love for details, everything seemed so well thought through. Felt like a home! Thank you for making this place so special!

This charming B&B in Merida boasts an excellent location, with easy walking access to the city center and all its attractions. The cozy and charismatic atmosphere of the place is a standout feature, and the small pool on the terrace provides a refreshing escape after a long day of sightseeing. The check-in and check-out process was also hassle-free, and guests can conveniently communicate through WhatsApp for any questions or concerns. The well-organized kitchen is an added benefit, offering everything necessary for cooking meals, although we only used it to store goods in the fridge and prepare breakfast once. The room was equipped with air conditioning, which was a welcome relief from the heat.
