Marina's Bright Getaway - Nafplio Center House

Apartment was 2 bedrooms, spacious , clean . A good flight of stairs to go upstairs. A bit difficult to open the doors . The apt was lovely . Location was central if you are parking it can be difficult to find street parking and a bit noisy when you go out to the small balcony. Indoors it's quiet

That's a rare find you would like everything about. A real house-museum full of old furniture, lamps, paintings. Fully functional with air condition, hot water, well equipped kitchen. All working appropriately well. There is a quite bedroom chamber with a lemon trees garden view (photo available). Another one is noisier, but what an experience living above the market that starts at 7 am on Wednesdays and Saturdays! The balcony overlooking a busy crossroads is amazing as you see Nafplio real day to day life going beneath you :) Lastly location is convenient as you get bus station, beach hike trail srarting point and old town all in 7-10 minutes walk from you. Supermarkets including cheaper Lidl (open on Sundays), local pastry shops, lots of taverns for locals - all around too. Definitely a must do choice if you need a two bedroom option in Nafplio.

Some fixes needed here and there - door handles in particular. Super minor problems just needing a little attention.

We liked everything. Location, interior, old good furniture, caracter of the big big apartment. Actually we felt - like been in the house. Morning coffee we took from kafeneio three steps at door and eveneing wine + meze 20 metres from the house door - inside (Nikitara) street. In this house you not feel yourself like in random B&B but like a heroe from Maupassant' or Bunin novel. And the lamps... Place full of old good dekadentic vibe. I like it.

Hard to deal with key boxes. But this is problem in general not addressed to host.

Apartment is spacious and cosy and very well located. The land lady was very helpful and pleasant to communicate with.

Altgouh nice, appartment is a bit old and some refurbisment here and there would be useful.
