Lahinja & Kolpa river apartments

The property faces directly onto the river, overlooking a big field and forest behind. We had the separate cabin and loved looking over this view from our deck. This was lovely. There was free use of the canoes which we liked and then cooling off in the pool on a hot day.

The sauna was an additional fee which we didn’t realize. No problem to charge but it was a surprise to us which could have been clearer when we booked. No issue in the end though!

Umirjena lokacija, ni prometa in hrupa. Bazen je čist in dovolj velik. Okolica je urejena in prijetna. Lastnica je prijazna in pripravljena pomagati.

Vse je bilo super.

Perfekt til flere familier, vi rejstrw 3 familier sammen, havde hver vores lejlighed og delte poolen. Fælles spiseareal ude ved poolen, så vi kunne spise måltiderne sammen. Fin pool. Spabad mod betaling. Floden lige ved lejligheden (Lahinja) er ikke til at bade i, men man kan sejle kanoer der, som er gratis tilgængelige. Kolpa river er dejlig at bade i og ligger kun 3 km væk.

Man skal være forberedt på at køre til alt, indkøb, sightseeing mm, men mange muligheder indenfor 1-2 timers kørsel.

Gostiteljica prijetna gospa, vse kar rabite vam bo pomagala/odgovorila. Mi smo imeli to nesrečo, da smo imeli vse dni slabo vreme zato se dopusta nismo mogli popolnoma naužiti. Žal v Metliki ni kaj dosti početi, sredi največje turistične sezone je bila praktično mrtva. Hiša stoji v mirni vasi, vse je na dosegu roke (ostali kampi in kopališča , trgovine...). Je lepo opremljena, mogoče malce slabše očiščena. Bazen in jacuzzi sta bila čista. Gospa je primerno poskrbela za komarje (dobiste veliko tekočine za vtičnico)... mogoče bi vseeno bilo za razmislit o komarnikih? Hiša ima več apartmajev in ker smo bili sami je bilo zelo privatno...verjamem pa da če so apartmaji zapolnjeni, zasebnosti ni več.

Het meest beviel de hygiëne en de vriendelijke host. Voorzieningen waren prima, met name het zwembad. Het weer hielp ook mee: we zaten op de benedenverdieping en konden altijd buiten voor de deur eten en zitten. We hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad met ons gezin van 6. En wat een mooie plekjes in de omgeving! Prachtig!!

Het is nog best wel afgelegen van andere bezienswaardigheden in Slovenië. Eigenlijk altijd wel een uurtje rijden, zelfs voor de dichtbijzijnste. Gelukkig hadden we later ook huisjes in de rest van Slovenië, want elke keer dat stuk via Novo Mesto werd op gegeven moment wel saai.

I like view from terrase. Cabin was cozy and well build. Smart TV with Youtube and Netflix.

Bathroom- alias shipping container rebuild (and not so well), mosquitos and missing windows insect nets, the air conditioning even on the LOW setting blew so that both my wife and I had a blocked neck, without air conditioning in the cabin it was immediately hot, in the evening it was impossible to sit on the terrace because of mosquitoes, totally overpriced. The bathroom was a joke, a shipping container had been pushed against the cabin, the floor wobbled, the boiler could not be regulated, so the first day I burned myself on the battery, the next day I had to turn off the circuit breaker so that we had warm but not boiling water, unventilable heat in the bathroom, madness .

I had an incredible stay at Lahinja&Kolpa river apartments. The place was spotlessly clean, and every detail was meticulously maintained. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality truly made the stay special. Highly recommend!
