"Excellent base in a magical location"

The property has real character but still has all mod cons. Fantastic views and right next to the beach. Everything worked and there wasn’t anything I felt we could have done with and wasn’t provided. Really charming property and nice attention to detail.

From the back bedrooms you could hear the trains which might annoy some people but they stop in the late evening and don’t start until after 7.00. In the summertime parking can be difficult in Mundaka but the hosts provided a Barrik travel card which works on all transport across Bizkaia .

"Lovely authentic Spanish house with sea view"

Nice view from lounge of the sea, close to beach short walk across road and down steps to the rocks. Spacious place with nice library reading area, single bathroom had nice shower. Kitchen loaded with everything needed and instruction book in english on everything which was welcome -well done. Modern Dishwasher and washing machine also clothes line outside window and internal hanging frame. Short walk to shops for supplies. Had a very homely feel to the place and we all would have liked to stay longer. It's not immaculate with old furniture, etc but part of the places charm rather and hosts did email prior to explain this along with road/train noise but decided to go with it.

Parking outside we didn't manage although there are about 4 cars that can park here. Lucky to get a parking space in small car park later on which was free and could keep eye on car from property. The main road outside the front is noisy and you can't help notice that especially when opening up windows for fresh air but its quieter overnight. Train line runs right behind property also but not as bad as road niose.

"Wonderful - we fell in love with both Mundaka and this characterful apartment!"

We loved the location looking out on Mundaka beach and so close to the sea as well as bars and restaurants. The feel of the apartment was also lovely with its sea charts and vintage furniture. Great to arrive somewhere with such a fantastic book selection. Nice shower!

The only negative for us was the train noise but we quickly got used to it - and since we have worse noise at home, soon barely noticed it.
