NO Parking

Beautifully restored and tastefully decorated home in the old town. It had everything we needed - we particularly appreciated the little touches (such as the Christmas lights and decorations) and the warm, cosy vibe of the whole place. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Nothing. For travellers with reduced mobility, please note that you cannot find parking outside the front door. Parking is, however, available just a couple of minutes’ walk further down the road.

We liked the location and the house was very comfortable for 2 couples.

Parking was a nightmare. They need to issue a pass for guests who stay there. We got a ticket for parking part way on the sidewalk. Our host didn’t even know where to tell us to park. She was not responsive to answering our texts even though she gave us her number.

The apt. had everything we needed. Very chic and stylish.

One of the things that we did not like about the property was the stairs required to get to the location. Not conducive for elders with luggage.

Property owner's listing photos misrepresent the apartment (the photos show stylish upholstered sofas in living room, upstairs bedroom, and upstairs patio but in reality, all are covered by blankets and throws like either a college dorm or your grandmother's home and what is shown as luxury patio club chairs and sofa is actually a cramped single sofa with throws over plastic that has been kept on the bench pillow (i.e., the plastic they were shipped in) and that make plastic rustling sounds when sat upon. The patio has none of the cute lanterns shown in the listing pictures of the patio, in reality, there are no styling elements on the patio at all and it's is mot the comfy and cozy space pictured on booking.com). The spa bath is listed as a feature element of the space but in truth it is a cramped shower with a large unit of some sort that looks like a pool cleaning unit attached to the shower by a hose. iIn the listing pictures, the unit is shown hanging out of the way on the shower wall but it actually has broken hanging clips so is on the floor and taking up a significant amount of the already small amount of standing room in the shower. The bathroom sink has a wide strip of black mold along the back of the cabinet. There is also a 4-5" drain in the floor in front of toilet/shower that is covered only with a flimsy rubber cover meant to seal a tub or sink when filling with water. It is not rigid or able to safely cover the open hole in the floor creating a hazard when moving about the small bathroom. The listing says the apartment has a fireplace and bbq in the facilities, but the house rules only made available upon arrival say the fireplace and grill are not available for use.
