Cabanas do avô João

It's a very cute and cosy flat, very well located in the centre of Nazaré, 50m from the beach. It's beautiful but tiny, perfect for 2. It's on the 1st and 2nd floors of a house, in a very quiet back street. We had a wonderful stay.

Very Compact, foldable table and chairs hung on the wall. Fridge & Stove & TV were available. Conveniently located, close to public transit and beach front and the centre of town.

Too Compact for the price, especially in low season. No room for movement. Very humid, excessive moisture, over 85% humidity, according to my humidity measuring device. Never experienced this in any beach front property.

Very clean and nice apartment very well located in the centre of Nazaré. You can reach everything via short walking distance. Very helpful and friendly host, fast and clear communication, easy check in and out.

Amazing location, well equipped and functional kitchen, and overall a beautiful cozy space. Sound isolation isn't great, but overall it's a quiet street. And for work (video calls) the Internet speed might not be sufficient, otherwise it's good for general use

Very clean, big space, small equipped kitchen, great location just steps from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and small shops near the apartment. Although I didn't meet the owner, I got great instructions about the apartment, once I got there. A small map with the streets could have helped me, if there was one on the instructions, I might have missed it.

Although it is good exercise, if you have bad knees, prepare to take the steps to the apartment and then to the room, slowly. I am tall, wear shoe size 9, and had to be extra careful with the steps, for me, they were somewhat small. My GPS couldn't find the place, but I manage to get there.

Cabanas do avô João is very small and cozy and perfect for a solo traveler or for a couple. It has everything you need! including a kitchen and sofa. The location is superb, you can see the beach as soon as you walk out the door. It is on a pretty quiet side alley that leads right to the main road where all the souvenir stands are. It’s close to everything: a supermarket, cafe, restaurant and also the little trolley that leads up to the lighthouse in Nazaré is within a couple minutes of walking distance. I thought that the price was also very reasonable for everything that you get! I thoroughly recommend this sweet apartment!

The door was a little hard to lock and unlock with the key and the shower door didn’t open smoothly. that’s nitpicking though. I really loved staying at the apartment!

Closeness to the beach

Smelly in the kitchen room. Humid all over the place. Location close to the beach is practical but also loud during the night. People shouting and singing almost all night long.
